Elevate your outdoor spaces with our premium Corner Wall Coping, a high-performance natural stone solution engineered for durability, elegance, and long-term protection.
Each corner wall coping stone is precision-cut to 60 cm in length and 3/5 cm in thickness, offering a sleek, uniform finish that enhances both modern and traditional architectural designs.
Whether you're capping a garden wall, finishing a raised planter, or protecting a pool surround, our Corner Coping delivers unmatched resilience and timeless style. Designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions, this product combines technical excellence with aesthetic appeal, making it a top choice for landscapers, builders, and homeowners alike.
Our Corner Wall Coping is designed to cap and protect a wide range of vertical structures. Whether you're working on a residential garden or a commercial landscape project, these coping stones provide both form and function.
Ideal for:
* Free-standing walls – Add a clean, finished edge while shielding the wall from water damage.
* Garden walls – Enhance your landscaping with a durable and stylish coping solution.
* Parapet walls – Protect rooflines and upper-level walls from moisture penetration.
* Pools and ponds – Use as a coping edge around water features for a sleek, non-slip surface.
* Raised beds and planters – Frame your planting areas with a polished, weatherproof finish.
By installing wall coping, you significantly reduce the risk of structural deterioration caused by prolonged exposure to rainwater. The coping acts as a barrier, directing water away from the wall face and preventing erosion of mortar joints and stonework.
Every detail of our Corner Wall Coping is engineered for optimal performance and longevity. From the drip groove to the polished chamfer, each feature serves a purpose in protecting your walls and enhancing the overall appearance of your project.
Drip Groove
* Depth: 3–5 mm
* Position: Approximately 10 mm from the edge of the wall coping
* Function: Prevents rainwater from flowing back onto the wall or step risers by redirecting it away from vertical surfaces. This helps preserve the integrity of the masonry and prevents staining or degradation of the wall face.
Chamfered & Polished Edge
* Chamfer: A 45° bevel cut along the perimeter of the coping stone.
* Purpose: Softens sharp corners, reduces the risk of chipping, and enhances safety.
* Finish: Polished to match the surface of the Black Basalt, creating a cohesive and refined look.
These technical features are not just aesthetic, they play a vital role in the long-term performance of your wall coping installation.
Our Corner Wall Coping is available in a flat cut profile and the following colours & materials:
* Black Basalt
* Dark Yellow Limestone
* Light Yellow Limestone
* Crema Marfil Limestone
* White Limestone
* Dark Grey Marble
* Light Grey Marble
Offering a clean, straight-edged finish that suits both contemporary and traditional builds. The flat design ensures easy alignment and a seamless look across long wall runs.
We understand that not every wall is built to standard dimensions. That’s why we offer custom sizing on request. Whether you need wider coping for a parapet or narrower pieces for a planter, we can cut to your specifications. We stock Corner Wall Coping in block format, allowing for flexible fabrication and fast turnaround.
If you don’t see your required size listed, please don’t hesitate to contact us we’re happy to help.
Installing Corner Wall Coping is straightforward and compatible with several traditional methods. For best results, we recommend:
* Sand & Cement Bedding
* Traditional Mortar Mixture
* Outdoor Flexible Tile Adhesive (for certain applications)
These methods ensure a secure bond and long-lasting performance, especially in outdoor environments where moisture and temperature changes are factors.
We offer convenient local collection from our Manchester facility (M17 1WA). Whether you're a trade professional or a DIY enthusiast, you can pick up your Corner Coping directly from our warehouse. For larger orders, delivery options are available upon request.
As with all natural stone products, Black Basalt features inherent variations that contribute to its unique character. These include:
* Pitting – Small surface indentations & hole's formed during the cooling of volcanic lava.
* Veining – Subtle mineral lines that add depth and texture.
* White Flecks – Natural inclusions that occur during the stone’s formation.
These features are not defects, they are part of the geological identity of basalt and are present throughout all of our batches. Each wall coping stone is unique, offering a one-of-a-kind finish that synthetic materials simply can’t replicate.
